Valentine Chocolates Sales Strategy

If our group want to make a business we would like to choose a product related to Valentine chocolate

OUR STRATEGY WILL BE DIVIDED INTO FIVE CATEGORIES,WHICH IS:

  1. TARGET MARKET
  2. PACKAGING
  3. PRICE
  4. PROMOTION
  5. PLACE
  


TARGET MARKET

-Our target market will be a love mate.It is can be categorized into married couple or people that are fall in love and also chocolate lovers.We also providing custom made chocolate for wedding ceremony and valentines day. 


PACKAGING 

In packaging we would divided it into three types which is Small,Medium and Large.Below are the sample of three various size:

Through this three size of packaging the prospect will be able to choose which one they are interested.



PRICE

Due to different size we provided price that are suitable for it.
An example:

  • Small packaging:RM20
  • Medium packaging:RM50
  • Large packaging:RM100

However the price for custom made chocolate will depend on the material and type of chocolate.If the customer choose a differences for the chocolate,it can be negotiable for the price.


PROMOTION

Due to our target market are love mates thus we highlighted on some meaningful/special days such as

Valentine's day.
Mother's day
Father's day

We take an example such as Valentine's day.If the customer choose to buy two chocolates in large size we will present a teddy bear(small size)

however which is not related to the special day but the customer buy any of our product in bulk or large quantity above RM800,the delivery to the place are free.Usually this type of order are promote for the wedding,party, and dinner's door gift.

Other than that we also will highlighted our chocolates are imported from Switzerland,Italy and the Netherlands.We also want to highlight our product is suitable for Muslims vegetarians because our products are guaranteed with halal certificate and did not use any sources from animal.

Every Wednesday from 6pm-7pm we will make a sales and the price are cut down till 30% for selected products.

PLACE
Last but not least our shop are located at Berjaya Times Square.We choose to rent at Times Square shop lot because we want to maintained our identity as a high class chocolate maker.Thus,it will create competitive advantage for us and will create entry barrier for new comer.




In a conclusion, all five strategies stated above is our marketing strategy to attract people and to increase entry barrier for the new comer.At the same time the price provided and the place we choose is to ensure our place as a high class chocolate maker.
